Great Cables!
Ordinarily I would not have paid this much for HDMI cables. However, with Monster's guarantee that they will replace the cables should specs change and they not be able to handle speed, it seemed like a "no brainer!"
There are always technological advances and HDMI will be no different. I have got the best cables available now, and am now assured that I will continue to have the bast cables available. Kudos to Monster!

Expensive, great construction, is it worth it? It depends...
Yes, these are expensive cables. The main selling point, in my opinion, of Monster brand cables is the excellent construction quality. I have Monster Cables that are several years old, and they are just as supple and oxidation-free as when I first bought them. There are some reviews saying there is no noticeable difference, but it depends what type of system you plan to use them with. For latest-generation TVs with LCD refresh rate 240Hz, 1080p resolution, LED TVs, OLED TVs, and Blue-Ray, these cables are probably over the top of what you need. However, what I like to do is buy a top-of-the-line cable that has very high transmission bandwidth capability so I don't have to buy a new cable in the future (e.g., 3D TVs). When the next HDMI format comes out, these cables will be up to the task. One thing is for sure, though. I will never buy Monster Cables in a retail store; I find them much cheaper on-line.

Monster did not arrive
The cable MONSTER MC 100HD did not arrive in the hotel on time, and did not followed the time proposed by the Amazon. The other requests except one (canceled by the Amazon) arrived on time.

Monster Cables...always the best!
I bought this for a friend. He had been told by friends of his that an HDMI cable was a waste of money. I told him 'they' wasted their money by not getting a decent cable. I told him that Monster Cable was the best out there. He said he couldn't afford the prices all the box stores were charging. I told him I'd find him one. Now, every time I see him he has gone on about how much better everything is, picture quality, sound, deepness of the blacks...He is a happy man!

Bandwith, Bandwidth, Bandwidth
Its all about bandwidth people. Yes, the signal is digital, sending binary code. However, the AMOUNT of code that the wire is capable of sending is the issue. For HDTV or an Xbox 360, any cheap old wire can handle the signal. However, for Blu-Ray players and the Playstation 3, there is substantially more (3x cable, 2x Xbox) bandwidth, and cheaper cables can't handle it. Some reviews have mentioned sound loss. Well thats because the cheap wire being used cant handle the HD audio transmitted. The same goes for the precise video signals. Data will be lost if the wire cant handle the bandwidth output from the transmitting device. Its really not rocket science.

Cable work great. Really liked the price. I purchased 8 cables total and all worked. Installed on HDTVs.

Good inexpensive cables which work just fine for 1080P HDMI
As the title states, I am quite happy with my choice of these cables. My wife (who is not an engineer) was all conned by the BestBuy guys into buying the Monster cables for at least 8 times the price I paid here. I convinced her that even if we go wrong we wont loose much money - we can always buy Monster cables later.
But we didnt have to. The cables are working just fine on all 3 TVs - I bought 3 cables.

Worth Much More Than I Paid
These cables work as well as those that cost three or four times more. I used them to connect my laptop to my TV and the resulting picture quality was outstanding.

Great item - unbeatable price.
With the boom in HD devices and need to connect them to displays to see that HD quality, the number of cords can easily grow and the cost for most of these HDMI cables can be almost as much as the components you're looking to connect!

So having said that, I purchased this cord to give it a shot - couldn't hurt for the price i thought - and I am so glad I didn't spend the , 80 or even 120 for the monster cable alternative.

Maybe the higher-end brands are a couple of degrees better but for me, watching Blu-Rays or video from my laptop on my HDTV with this HDMI cable is excellent.
