SAMSUNG LN37A330 37" LCD HDTV
Purchased this TV from Sixth Avenue Electronics through AMAZON. Of course, dealing with AMAZON was easy and flawless as usual. I love using AMAZON! The TV arrived early and with everything needed for a quick set up. Worked perfectly from minute one. I really like Samsung because they make things simple and easy to use and also have excellent quality. Price was lower than anywhere else. Kudos to 6th Avenue. Awesome!

A great low cost second HDTV
I got this TV for our basement for the Wii that we just purchased as we have a 55 inch DLP upstairs for our normal viewing. The reason why we got a lower end LCD was 1 price, 2 it wasn't going to be our everyday TV to watch so I wasn't quite as concerned with the picture quality, and 3 we wanted to mount it on the wall so that we would not have issues with hitting it with our Wii remotes. The picture quality is great with the Wii and is good for TV. I would recommend this TV for someone that isn't going to use it as their primary TV. If they were buying a primary TV I would suggest spending more and getting a 1080p as you can see the difference in picture quality. Again though, this TV delivered on why I got it and didn't disappoint one bit.

Awesome T.V.! I'm very pleased with the picture quality. Maybe the only slight problem is the speakers are just O.K., but certainly not bad enough not to buy it. I think it's a great value.

Among the best at this size ...
Having worked previously as an electronics salesman, I have a working knowledge of HDTVs. I always recommended the Samsung models as "among the best," but never had seen one within a home and running as most consumers would. Until recently ...
My mother owns this model and has for a few weeks now. It's classy-looking with a glossy outer bezel and an oval stand (included). The TV itself seems larger than the competitors, simply because the speakers are located on the sides. This helps give a more natural-sounding stereo effect without the extra cost of a home theater system. It's just got a high-end, quality look to it. Samsung LCDs are renowned for having a top-notch viewing angle. This holds true with this model. Stand nearly 180° to the side, and the picture is still bright and clear. LCDs have come a long way in a few short years.
The remote is well-marked and easy to use. TV-accessed menus are simple and quick to navigate. My mother, not well-versed in knowledge of consumer electronics, was able to configure the settings herself with very little help.
Unlike lower-end competitors, though, this 3-series Samsung does not offer any separate composite hookups (the 3 red, white, and yellow plugs). One of the component hookups must be used in place. If you have, say, a DVD/VCR combo, Dish Network (non-HD), and a Nintendo Wii to all hookup, you're out of luck. There simply isn't room for more than 2 non-HD inputs. It can be annoying to have to repeatedly unplug and replug items into your new TV. If you plan on using at least one of the HDMI plugs, though, this problem is avoided. However, be aware that most direct competitors do offer more non-HD hookups.
For the price, you can find larger TVs. Big retailers are often willing to sell last year's models at cheaper prices (ie 720p TVs) because most people spending 0+ want the latest and greatest. If you just want a quality TV and you plan on using the HDMI hookups for true High Definition viewing, this is probably the best picture you'll find. I made sure my mom knew what to look for when she went shopping - and she agreed by getting this one.
Best of luck to you!

Fab!
It arrived on time and it's fabulous- very easy to set up. I'm a happy camper!

Remote sensor issue
Ok, im sorry to break the good reviews of this TV. But im giving this TV 2 stars only for the fact that i purchased through another company (beach camera), had the TV for like one day, then all of a sudden the remote stops working. Next day it worked again, then a week later it stopped, then started working again. I went online and found out quite a few people have had a problem with this, apparently the Infrared sensor on the TV itself could be on its way out. That kind of sucks for me, as i have a home in the caribbean, of where the TV was shipped so to get a repair guy to come out is kind of out of the question.
I'm still waiting to hear what LG support will do. If they can get out a new sensor board to me without any hassle, i would gladly put up the stars to 4 or 5, cause it really is a nice TV, but this remote issue is really getting me upset, especially after spending so much money.

Never believe editor reviews , but believe and take in customers reviews.
I like many others have shyed away from purchasing a plasma hdtv. Myths of burn in and glare aren't completely false , but you would have to try your best to get an burned in image due to the white wash option that this LG has. The tv is great , and it's great for people with an budget that want big budget quality . Currently I have my directv and my PS3 hooked up to this tv set and the HD movies and games are phenomenal . I even recently hooked up my PSP through the usb cable on the side of this hdtv and listen to music , looked at photos , and watched videos on my 50 inch screen. Great product for a great price. Useless you just have to spend an extra 400 bucks for a 1080p hdtv with 120hz.

Great gift for my niece & her family
Exactly wanted she wanted. Delivery was great....allowed us to sign the delivery form that we requested the TV not to be opened for inspection....it was a Christmas Gift.

Thrilled!!
I got an incredible deal on this tv last Fall (2009) by stacking multiple discounts, rebates, etc., to the point I could not refuse. I am absolutely thrilled with it! The 720 (vs. 1080) is not an issue what-so-ever as the sofa is about 10' away. Also, there is no reflection issue as this is in our basement family room. In fact, for our application it is perfect. I have a nice Toshiba 40" LCD 1080p in my den with a superior surround system but that room can only sit 3 people. This 50" LG is perfect for us for entertaining a crowd such as watching the Colts on their way to the Super Bowl! No complaints all.

GREAT VALUE FOR 50 INCH TV!
I was really amazed at the ease of setup and what a sharp picture with outstanding colors. You can't go wrong with this Tv. So glad I purchased the LG. Hope to have many years of service from it.

Excellent product.
Beautiful picture and easy setup. I had read other reviews that said the screen tilts downward.
Actually, when first installed on the mount, the screen tilts downward 5-10 degrees. But you
can tilt it back. Just hold the base, and gently but firmly tilt the screen back. It will go 5-10
degrees back from vertical.

Stand and TV Leans Forward
While there is no question the technology on the TV is second to none, the product 'leans' forward about 7 degrees whereas it should be perpendicular to the area it is placed.
I called Samsung and they shipped me a new stand, but it still has a slight tilt forward.

Samsung 19" - GREAT TV
I ordered this TV as a replacement for the one in our kitchen. Actually it was a Christmas gift for my wife. We both absolutely love it. It has a great picture and looks great with silver/black appliances we have. I know some have complained about the sound quality, but for us it is perfect. I think it would also fit good in a small bedroom or such. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Samsung 19"
Great value and best quality i could find for a small set. the controls are all on the front so you dont have to fumble for them and the design is symmetrical vs. some sets that add curves to the overall dimensions.

According to Samsung - NOT 120 Hz
I've been looking for an affordable lcd with 120Hz refresh. I came across this unit, seeing that the description, in multiple places, claims 120Hz. I also went to Samsung's (the manufacturer) page for this model. It explictly says the unit does NOT run at 120Hz.
Check it yourself in the Specifications page - " LCD 120Hz = No"
