Great for its purpose
I recently bought this (3 of them actually) at another online vendor for a crazy low price.

Pros: works great with my own headphones (primary concern), avrcp and a2dp support, great battery life

Cons: Included earphones are pure garbage; they're only useful as beaters when you don't care about sound quality (like working out, on the bike, running, etc.)

Unknown: voice quality, I haven't owned these long enough to test out how well they work for actual phone calls, since I really bought them to listen to music.

The earphones have an incredibly muddy sound, and they sound very muffled, worse than the stock set of earbuds you get with an ipod.

I'm also having difficulties with sound becoming choppy after stopping and resuming my media player, I usually have to disconnect and reconnect to the bt3030 in order to resume listening. I don't know if this is the fault of my phone or the bt3030

Piece of Crap
The design is cool. The earbuds busted after about a month. Some of the controls don't work on my iphone even though they said they would. Don't buy it.

Good Idea
Great product. Allows me to cycle and carry my phone in my pocket without wires. This allows me to pull the phone out of my pocket and start/stop my gps program and/or take picturs without fighting wires.

Finally a bluetooth that works well with iPhone 3GS
After trying both the Motorola S9 HD and the Jabra Halo and being somewhat less than satisfied with both I decided to give it one more try and ordered the Jabra BT3030. Since I already had what I consider to be one of the best headphones available ( Bose QuietComfort 3 Noise Canceling headphones.) I figured why not use them. I am very pleased with the BT3030. I simply use the provided clip and attach it to the Bose headphones and use a small cable tie for the cord so that I do not have to use the provided chain. The sound quality is great. I also now have the added bonus of being able to use the BT3030 with my Bose Acoustic Wave and Bose Wave Radio.

Tried a few - This is the best!
I initially purchased the HTC Wired Remote Control Stereo Headset for AT&T Fuze; it worked great for all of 10 seconds and then went "kaput" for no reason I could fathom. I sent that back and just received the Jabra BT3030 and am listening to music right now. After a few issues related to initial pairing (I was not asked for a passcode, for some reason, when first trying to pair) I was able to successfully pair the two devices, including being asked for passcode, as the manual indicates.

Regarding range: A few moments ago I walked down the hall and into the bathroom and left my phone on my home-office desk and the music kept right on playing (despite the devices being separated by a wall!) so the range seems more than adequate.

The only reason I am not giving this product 5 stars is

1) I just got it, so time will tell how robust it is, and

2) When I press and hold the forward and reverse buttons, it does not actually fast forward / reverse, as advertised, but simply skips to the next (or last) track.

Oh, and the start-up "Manual" provided with the product is scanty with information at best. However, one can do a search online and locate a down-loadable Jabra BT3030 manual, which is very detailed and user-friendly - I highly recommend new users of the product seek out this manual.

Last: Based on other reviews, I also ordered and received the Klipsch Image S-4 headphones. These are reasonably priced and provide superior quality of sound compared to the headphones that come with the Jabra. The Klipsch headphones are also super comfortable and fit securely in the ear (there are 3 sizes of earphone covers to choose from included with the Klipsch product).

For the price, I don't think there is a better wireless stereo player out there, and I actually like the "dog-tag fashion" approach. I have tested most features but not all; if more features do not work as advertised, I will be sure to add an update to this review.

GRRREEEAATTT PHONE
I BOUGHT THIS PHONE YESTERDAY AND STARTED ENJOYING RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. I AM TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE FEATURES OF THIS PHONE. SINCE I AM BLACKBERRY FAN, I AM SUPER HAPPY WITH MY NEW DEVICE. I UPGRADED MY PEARL 8130 TO THIS MODEL. TEH TRACKPAD IS WORKING JUST AS EXPECTED. I CURRENTLY HAVE AN UNLIMITED DATA PLAN SO I AM HAVING A GREAT TIME WITH THIS NEW PHONE. THE CAMERA IS FINE. MAYBE A FLASH WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER ADD ON. THE VIDEO CAMERA WORKS FINE. BETTER THAN MY PREVIOUS MODELS OF BB AND NOKIAS. THE OFFICE APPLICATIONS ARE OK. AND THE BB APPLS ARE GREAT. I JUST DOWNLOADED A COUPLE OF THEM. HAVE A GOOD TIME USING THIS PHONE. BUY IT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Good Blackberry
this is a good product, its features and applications. works as it should be.
is compact, and easy to use.

certainly no iPhone ... which is a good thing!
the 8520 phone actually works well on at&t! no matter how much you learn the iphone keyboard, a blackberry full physical qwerty still wins, hands down. the spell checker and predictive type on bberry is better vs iphone and with the physical keyboard you misspell a lot less. since you can sync your itunes on here you only "miss" the iphone for its apps which really only work best on wifi. 8520 is lightweight, fairly thin, very light, has nicely spaced keys, and really cool media controls blended into the top of the device. nice use of rubber here on the device too lends some durability to glossy plastic finish. I jammed a 16G nand flash card into it too so i have music, movies etc with me. I bought the unlocked version since i use the 8520 when traveling to US from abroad .... without a full blackberry data package you lose out on things like email and blackberry messenger - but this is my 2nd/travel phone so i dont care too much - I use it when in the US with pay as you go on at&t - i get what i want a phone that works, easy texting, wifi browsing and music/video. iPhone is my main phone abroad but it wont stay that way once renewal time comes. I could easily see 8520 being my main phone but if you want the mobile internet experience (3G) and slightly cooler packaging then go for the 9700, but you pay for it - a lot more. given cost differential I would easily buy 8520 over 8900 ...8520 just feels a tad cooler too vs 8900 still too corporate. yet both are pretty similarly equipped. if you had full blackberry data package with this as your main phone u r probably happy person. i am more than happy with this as 2nd/travel phone. Cool thing about this unlocked version is i can buy pay as you go sim card, slip it in and work no matter where i am. in past my edge (non3G) blackberries actually run things like google apps and internet fairly well. i am sure 9700 with full 3G is better but necessary??

Excelent Blackberry model
Very nice phone: unlocked, delivery shipping OK, new box, the only bad thing is that this model doesn't iclude any leather case neither the memory card. The phone works correctly! battery, software already updated, everything...even when is used in different country: It's working perfectly with Movistar line, Venezuela.

Recibi el BB ayer coloque mi sim y sirve prefecto como celular con Digitel aun no he activado el servicio BB. Sin embargo varias personas me han dicho que el aparato debio traer una memoria adicional que es raro que no la tenga. Quisiera saber si verdaderamente la trae o no.

I received it yesterday and It works good as a Cel Phone, I don't have the BB service yet, but I'm worry because some people has told me that the BB must bring an aditional memory card, and it doesn't bring it, I want to know if that is true, if it's true what can I do to receive this aditional memory
